United get Huntelaar boost

AC Milan have dropped out of the race to sign Manchester United target Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.

The Italian giants are instead focusing on a move for Sevilla striker, Luis Fabiano who has also been linked with a move to the Premiership champions.

“At this point there is only one negotiation standing, and that is Luis Fabiano,” Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Our coach (Leonardo) prefers Luis Fabiano to Huntelaar.”
