Everton vs. Manchester United Preview

After their historic victory in midweek against AC Milan, Manchester United face a tricky trip to play Everton at Goodison Park tomorrow lunchtime.
David Moyes’ side have lost just twice in their last twelve games and beat Sporting Lisbon in their midweek Europa League fixture.
United are in similarly good form, having gone undefeated in the Premier League in the last two months, cutting Chelsea’s lead to just one point in the process.
The home side have a few injury worries going into the game, with Tim Cahill facing a late fitness check, and Marouane Fellaini ruled out and requiring ankle surgery after suffering a long term injury against Liverpool.
There is good news on the United front though, with Nemanja Vidic in contention for his first appearance of the year, after recovering from a nerve problem in his leg.
However, defensive partner Rio Ferdinand and the recently rejuvenated Nani are both still suspended, while Ryan Giggs, John O’Shea and Owen Hargreaves are still all sidelined.
Although this is undoubtedly a tricky fixture for United, I am still confident that they will have too much quality for Everton. My prediction is a 2-0 win for United, win Wayne Rooney getting on the score-sheet against his former club.
What do you think of United’s chances tomorrow?
