No Hargreaves setback

Manchester United have claimed that Owen Hargreaves’ withdrawal from a reserve team fixture against Manchester City  is not due to an injury setback.

The midfielder was due to play in tonight’s game, but will now not feature.

“This definitely isn’t another injury setback,” a spokesman told the club’s official website.

“It just doesn’t fit in with Owen’s training schedule.”
