United linked with £25million offer for Tottenham’s Modric

Manchester United have made Luka Modric their main transfer target, according to The Sun.

Sir Alex Ferguson is known to be a big admirer of the Croatian midfielde and praised him in his programme notes ahead of the recent match between the two clubs.

Fergie said: “And I give you another wee man who’ll be at Old Trafford this afternoon: Luka Modric, who is playing out of his skin at the moment.”

According to the report, United will test Tottenham’s resolve with a £25million bid.
