Nev to stay for another season at United

Gary Neville has signed a one-year contract extension with Manchester United.

The right-back will now go into his 19th season at Old Trafford and joins Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs in committing themselves to the club.

“He deserves it,” said Ferguson. “His contribution has been fantastic.

“What Gary has achieved after being out of the game for 18 months, in his 30s, is astonishing.”
