No Manchester United transfer for Joe Cole

Manchester United have ruled out a move for Joe Cole, according to BBC Sport.

Press reports yesterday had claimed that the England midfielder was expected to move to Old Trafford this summer after his contract at Chelsea had expired.

Cole has also been heavily linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.

A senior club source at Manchester United told the BBC that they would not be making a move to sign the 28-year-old.
