A convincing performance from Sir Alex’s side see’s them progress into Saturdays draw for the 5th round, goals from Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen and Antonio Valencia saw United through this encounter with League Two side Aldershot Town.
Ben Amos 6
A solid performance for Uniteds third choice keeper wasn’t too busy but when he was called into action do as good as job as he could.
Zeki Fryers 6
A good first game in the senior side from the youngster didn’t make many mistakes, definitely one for the future.
Nemanja Vidic 6
A solid performance by the captain was booked early on for a rash challenge but made some good tackles throughout, led from the back as he always does for United.
Phil Jones 7
Seems to grow in confidence with every game that he plays for United, tonight’s performance was another commanding effort from Jones.
Fabio da Silva 6
Did everything that was asked of him, with his return to the side, showed encouraging touches when was in attacking areas of the pitch.
Tom Cleverly 7
All touches had throughout the game were done well, a pleasing performance on his return to the side after time out with injury, linked up well with both Berbatov and Park.
Ji-Sung Park 7
A solid performance from Park, showed good composure in the box when received ball from Cleverly to set up Berbatov for the opener, put Aldershot defence under pressure with some dazzling runs up the pitch.
Antonio Valencia 8
A brilliant performance from the wide men, gave the Aldershot left back a torrid time as he does so often with Premier League defenders. Scored a wonder goal to seal the game for United, rarely put a foot wrong.
Mame Biram Diouf 5
Never really got a look in during the game even against such lowly opposition but tracked back well to cover Fabio when the left back pressed up on the flank.
Michael Owen 7
Took his goal as well as he has ever done throughout his career, pressed the Aldershot Town defence all game, looked hungry for more goals.
Dimitar Berbatov 8
A performance that may give Fergie a headache for weekend’s upcoming game against Everton, looked hungry and determined throughout the game, scored the first and set up the second for Owen, seems like really wants his place in side back and on this performance more than deserves his chance.

I wasn't Fryers' first game. He played against Leeds. Fabio was at right back, Fryers was at left back. Good to see Fabio making through 90 mins without injury!
