United plan swoop for Huddersfield star

Manchester United are reportedly planning a £5million bid for highly-rated Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes.
United sent Paul Scholes, United’s newest addition to the scouting team, to take a look at the 21-year-old in the Terriers’ game at Scunthorpe on Tuesday.
Rhodes has scored nine goals in his last four games including back-to-back hat-tricks and an emphatic finish in front of Scholes at Glanford Park.
The former Ipswich player also bagged a hat-trick for Scotland Under-21′s earlier this month and the purple patch has caught the attention of a number of clubs, including Manchester United.
Huddersfield chairman Dean Hoyle issued a hands off warning last week but reports today suggest a fee of £5million would be needed to secure the services of Rhodes who is joint-top in the League One goalscoring charts.
